PROUD TO PARTNER WITH UEF IN CONNECTING EDUCATION, BUSINESS, AND SOCIETY
In the context of a constantly evolving society, law plays a pivotal role in maintaining justice, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and businesses, and promoting sustainable development. Profound changes in the economic, political, and cultural spheres have created an urgent need for a flexible legal system that can effectively respond to contemporary practical challenges.
Arising from this need, on the morning of March 20, the Faculty of Law of UEF organized the National Scientific Conference “Law, Justice and Development” with the theme “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)”. As one of the accompanying partners, Celigal Law Firm Co., Ltd. was deeply honored and proud to participate in and contribute to this event, which holds significant academic and practical value.
This year’s conference, themed “Multi-dimensional
Perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility from a Legal Standpoint,” attracted
significant attention from legal and economic professionals, researchers,
lecturers, students, as well as representatives of organizations and
enterprises. The conference served as a high-quality academic forum where
diverse perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) were
shared, discussed, and examined, ranging from legal frameworks to practical
implementation within the business community.
With more than 100 papers submitted,
of which 85 were selected for publication in the conference proceedings, the
event demonstrated the strong interest of the academic community and legal
practitioners in building a responsible, transparent, and sustainability-oriented
business framework. Presentations delivered across the three main panels
systematically highlighted the role of law in regulating Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR), the proactive engagement of enterprises in fulfilling
their social responsibilities, as well as the challenges and expectations
facing CSR implementation in the current context.
Within the framework of the
conference, we were honored to be one of the law firms signing a
training cooperation agreement with UEF. This signing ceremony not only marked
an important milestone in the partnership between the university and the
business community, but also demonstrated our strong commitment to accompanying
and supporting the education and training of the next generation of lawyers and
young legal professionals — the core contributors to the future of Vietnam’s
legal sector.
As a law firm with extensive
practical experience, we are fully aware of the importance of fostering strong
connections between academic institutions and the business community. Providing
students with early exposure to a professional working environment is a key
factor in enabling them to develop comprehensively in terms of legal expertise,
professional skills, and ethical standards.
Through the cooperation program with
UEF, we will provide students with opportunities for internships, mentoring
(career orientation), field visits, and specialized sharing sessions delivered
by our team of experienced lawyers. We believe that a strong and sustainable
connection between theory and practice will create practical value, contribute
to enhancing the quality of legal education in particular, and make a positive
contribution to the development of high-quality human resources for society as
a whole.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) for creating a meaningful academic forum that fosters close connections among stakeholders within the education–legal–business ecosystem. We look forward to continuing our partnership with UEF in future professional, training, and community development activities, contributing to the cultivation of a strong legal generation and a responsible business community.
